[epub] Swearing down the subscribe box

I don't know if anyone else has had this, but....

In the space of a week I got about a dozen "subscribe" requests come 
through with crude messages included as the name of the "subscriber" or 
within the eMail address. Lasted for about 4 days.

Anyone else come across this weirdness?
