[epub] Thanks for 7 years of wisdom!

Dear e-pubbers:

I just realized it's almost exactly 7 years since the day I joined
this discussion group.

October 1996.

Brian Alt was moderator.

I was an "ezine newbie", reading every post avidly and learning.
Experimenting, testing, measuring, tracking - and analyzing.

The number of posts at the time was higher.  Much higher.  Many
names that are VERY well known today were frequently seen on
this list.  I first met Paul Myers, Mark Brownlow and Will
Bontrager here, got to know David Yancey and matched wits with
UK Jerry - all in all, had a lot of fun while learning and
networking with some great folks.

The amount of advice and support I received from fellow list
members is INCREDIBLE.

Today, as an "ezine expert", owner of 'The Ezine Marketing
Center' and author of several ebooks and reports about effective
ezine marketing, , I'd like to take a moment to say 'Thank You'
to the fantastic people who've made this list what it is.

And taught me most of what I know about ezine publishing and
marketing.

It might have all come to a premature end!

Janet took what was an 'abandoned' venture and turned it back
into the "Net's best resource about e-publishing" - and does
a GREAT job managing it through the storms and rough seas
that email publishing has faced in recent times.

Thank you for what you've created, Janet.  I'm sure many
others appreciate the hard work too.
