Hi Diane!

I do not reply to those spam filter notices.  Here is what I do:

I do send another note to the person requesting that they add me to their
white list (yes, I do get a note for me to approve and I don't approve it).
If a few issues later, I'm still receiving the approve meesage, because they
didn't add me, then I remove them.  Sometimes, they check their spam bin and
see my note, read it and add me. Now those are the clients ..er... readers
that I want!

I like what i-cop.com does.  When you subscribe online, the thank you notice
gives you all this great information on what to do in order to get their
confirmation and subsequent emails.

I have a draft on my newer Welcome Notice... and it will include white
listing my domain name.
