A simple fix would be to include a subscvription BOX ... not a link on the
front page.

I conducted unscientific research about 1 1/2 years ago, and people will put
their email in a box, much more easily than clicking, then putting it
somewhere.

Consider redoing your site. It's very hard on the eyes (orange, link blue
and yellow), and all those tables make it look like a site from the 1999's
(at least hide the code for the table borders). Tell me up front what your
site is about...  Viewers want to see that right away w/o scrolling and I
can't tell, even when reading the site, what you are offering me.

Remember... it's not just subscribers you want.... it's QUALITY Subscribers.

PS.  I consider it spam when someone sends me unrequested notes to link to
their sites.  I don't give a hoot what the Internet Guru's are telling
people to do. It's annoying, and the only folks you'll get visiting are
curosity seekers, or unqualififying folks.
