I get the feeling that it's an internal squabble, as Kendall is listed on their sites, or a scam of some sort. But ... should I remove that article? I don't want legal trouble, but I wouldn't like to think I wasn't backing up a fellow author! The article is listed on other sites, such as SitePro News - p'raps I'll see if they've had any email from this firm.

No, you don't need to remove the article. Again, I'm not an attorney but, as I understand intellectual property law, they can't do a thing to you. From the sounds of the advice they say they received, I very much doubt that they have a legal advisor or, if they do, this person is somebody like Uncle George the auto mechanic who used to watch L.A. Law every week. I could be wrong but I would expect that any reputable intellectual property lawyer would laugh these folks right out of his or her office.

What I think you should do is contact Kendall. I have a hunch she can tell you a lot more about them. And you may feel better able to deal with the situation if you know both sides of the story.

I don't know Kendall but I've heard from several sources that she isn't that hard to get in touch with.

Cheers!
