Absolutely, esp. if you have date and time stamped data.

But...

Try telling that to the m*rons who *will* report you for
sending UCE... even IF you include the data in your
mailing.

It happened to me TWICE a few months ago - and this
was with emails sent to *fresh* (read less than a week
old) leads collected by a very reputed lead generation
expert, and shared exclusively with me (no, I've not been
'had' - he did say he might sell them later, but at that
point, I was the only other person mailing these leads)

I got warned by 2 different people - my list hosting
service and my web host (since my URL was listed
in the message)

So this is, at best, a risky process in today's world.
If you feel taking this risk is justified, by all means go
for it.  But please don't advice anyone else to go with
you unless they have analyzed the risks for themselves.
