Well, once a year would be a good start!

When we get that to happen, then I'd move to require once a quarter...and 
then once a month. I think once a month is enough to show you care about 
being part of this EPUB community.

I intend to allow up to 4 weeks for existing members to find a way to add 
or contribute to the group and probably won't begin trimming till March 
2005. This will allow an even flow of quality contributes by the couple 
hundred I expect will delurk...rather than several hundred posts just to post.

With the proposed changes to EPUB, I'm saying that I'd rather see a higher 
return from EPUB as a thinktank, braintrust, meeting-of-the-minds or 
mastermind group than as a normal public discussion list that allows a 
person to lurk forever.

When 800 of our EPUB members don't add or contribute in any way, their 
value has diminished to zero for the group.

It's all about adding value to the group and becoming more because of it.

I want this move to unleash the value that is currently locked up in this DL.
