[epub] Re: Ezine Testing: What if you don't like what you find?

Perhaps I need to narrow down my goal for the tests and focus on which days create the best conversion vs. best clicks to drive ad revenue.

Your thoughts?

Chris, I was pretty amazed too when I tested different SUBJECT
lines with the same message. Open rates were near identical.

I then polled a segment of the list about it - and they said:

"Why, we read *anything* you send me, Dr.Mani... when I see
your name, I click to open it!"

You've got even higher name recognition with your list. I know
I always read epub posts from you!

So if you're looking to test that element, you'd probably have
to figure out a way to either eliminate the 'Sparky' factor by
using a different subject line, or use some form of multi-
variable testing (Marty Foley recently announced a script which
does it for websites, not sure if it works for email).

Hope this helps
