Yes, thanks for the follow-up. I had looked into phplist probably about 
6 months or so ago, but the documentation and the software didn't feel 
like it was exactly in sync. That tends to be a problem of most open 
source software, though. Of course, as a benefit, it's open source.

I have definitely considered that even if phplist didn't provide the 
metrics I needed, it probably would not be a major pain for me to add 
them.
