24/7 Media's President Steps Down 2001-03-27 Print | Email This | Bookmark | SubscribeTom Detmer, President and Operating Chief of 24/7 Media (Nasdaq:TFSM), announced today his decision to step down from his position and assume the duties of general manager for 24/7 Exactis, the company's email service division. Before his appointment to president of 24/7 Media in October, Detmer was the president and CEO of Exactis.com, which 24/7 Media bought last year.
"At this point in time, I want to rededicate my energies to the 24/7 Exactis business," Detmer said in a statement. "This is a challenging time in the email service bureau space, and for us to remain the leader, we must intensely focus on the new products we are launching and the functionality we are adding to our core products."
With a BA from Williams College and an MBA from the University of Denver, Detmer has more than 20 years of direct-marketing experience. He founded Atlantes, an information-solutions company eventually acquired by Experian, and is the founder and president of the publishing unit within Telelink Systems.
David J. Moore will serve as acting President and Operating Chief of 24/7 Media.
